Episode 2: Ruth Levy’s Chrimslech
Ruth Levy (nee Weissler) and her family escaped Nazi Germany just before the outbreak of WWII and resettled in Montreal. She eventually married Sam Levy and together they had 4 sons. She kept her family’s Chrimslech tradition going even when they grew up and had kids of their own – it was a way to bring the family together during Passover. When Ruth was unwell last year, her granddaughter Raphaelle took on the Chrimslech. In this video, Raphaelle gets the official directions and learns more about her grandmother’s amazing story.
