Mehshi Kusa has a new home online
The Roots competition is over and though “Mehshi Kusa” was in the finals, first prize went to a beautiful film called “Ikwe” by Caroline Monnet.
However, “Mehshi Kusa” does have its first permanent home because it was produced in tandem with a larger project that I’m working on called Going Places, a 10-week digital storytelling workshop for young people with refugee experience. It’s a Concordia University/Life Stories (CURA)/Mapping Memories/YWCA co-effort. So the video is now a part of their video collection, which will grow in the next few weeks as the workshop comes to a close.
Here’s the link.
